Saturday, August 22, 2026

9 am to 4 pm

Step back in time and celebrate the art of printing at one of the year’s most anticipated events! For this annual event, the Museum opens an hour earlier than usual!

A Wayzgoose is a centuries-old tradition dating back to the 1500s—an annual gathering of printers to mark the end of summer and the beginning of the printing season. We bring this historic festivity to life with a day full of hands-on activities, live demonstrations, and rare finds for print enthusiasts of all levels.

Letterpress Surplus Sale! From seasoned printers to curious beginners, the Surplus Sale is a treasure trove of vintage printing equipment and supplies. Whether you’re looking to expand your printshop or start one from scratch, you’ll find something unique at the Surplus Sale.

Live Printing Demonstrations & Hands-on Activities! Experience the magic of traditional printing techniques with ongoing mini-tours and interactive stations throughout the day.
