There are many ways to support the International Printing Museum, and we couldn’t operate without you.

Though the International Printing Museum receives income from its tours and programs, two-thirds of its annual budget is funded by generous donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Only through the generosity of our many Friends and supporters can we meet ongoing financial needs and keep the Museum growing. Help us carry out our mission of “Education Through Preservation.”

  • Education – Our award-winning educational programs reach tens-of-thousands of students annually, and teach valuable lessons about American history, science, and the entrepreneurial spirit that has been instrumental in the advancement of the graphic arts.

  • Preservation – the Museum now has the most significant collection and display of working antique printing equipment in the United States; the Museum’s exhibits and collections cover every major technological change in the graphic arts from 800 AD to the present digital age, from Gutenberg’s development of the printing press in 1450, to the rise of lithography and the digital technologies of the 21st century.

  • Research – The Museum’s Research Library on Printing History, containing nearly 7,000 volumes and artifacts on the history of printing and printing technologies, is open to, and used by scholars from around the country.

The International Printing Museum Foundation is a tax-exempt, 501c3 public charity recognized by the IRS. Your contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
