Antique Tuscan Outlined type was first manufactured by Wm. H. Page & Co. in 1859; two years before the start of the Civil War. In fact our type dates from that first year of production. This was determined by the company named stamped on each of the A’s of each font made by the Page Company and 1859 featured a unique form of the name. This AntiqueTuscan Outlined font has an academic look and may sometimes be found on the jerseys of your local high school or college sports teams.
