This font, Plymouth, was designed in the early 1900s and was intended to recreate the look of earlier printing techniques. As a result this modified Roman typeface has some antique features plus irregular edges to achieve the look of a heavy impression on soft paper. Our 10 line Plymouth wood type was manufactured by the Hamilton Mfg. Co. of Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
